The Samsung Wave 2 is certainly built to impress. Featuring an enormous screen, a slender frame, and a wealth of exciting features such as the new Bada operating system and TouchWiz interface, there is a lot about this phone to get excited about. However, is it unique enough to distinguish itself from its predecessor?

Appearance-wise, the Wave 2 is impressive, with a massive 3.7 inch Super Clear 16 million colour LCD touchscreen dominating the phone. Considering that it's so big, we also like that it's scratch resistant. It's sheathed in quality black plastic and light chrome accents around the buttons. At 135g, it's not the lightest phone on the market, but it's solid and capable feeling for all that. It may be a bit too long to fit easily into your back pocket, but it's still easily storeable in a purse or jacket pocket.

Combine Bada with TouchWiz and you have an amazing phone to use. Customise several homescreens with a variety of unique built-in widgets and apps. With its multi-touch technology, scrolling and toggling is made easy and fun. Those who aren't used to mobiles may find it a bit difficult to get used to, but veteran mobile users will find the combination innovative and fun. Its 1GHz processor also ensures everything runs smoothly and speedily.

Its internet related features are also impressive, featuring wi-fi, 3G, HDSPA, Bluetooth, USB, GPRS, EDGE, and many others. Its wonderfully responsive screen makes doing everything from watching movies to typing out text messages a breeze. The Bada operating system allows you to play with a number of apps and widgets. You can also learn how to customise and arrange them according to how often you use them.

Its five megapixel camera features a LED flash, geo tagging, face detection, smile detection, blink detection, touch focus, and autofocus. Its shutter speed is nicely quick, and its thorough connectivity allows you to upload pictures directly to Twitter, Facebook, and more. We also liked its Seia app, which allows friends to comment on photos. Pictures come out crisp and clear and vibrant, though a Xenon flash would have been even stronger.

Its music system is also impressive, featuring a 3.5 mm headphone jack and DNSe system for enhanced sound. This allows you to enjoy your tunes using your favourite set of headphones rather than the ones that come with the box. Sound quality is superb, with no crackling, tinniness, or distortion.

Its memory storage is truly gargantuan, with 2GB of internal memory and 2GB of external memory, allowing you to upload songs and videos and photos to your heart's content without worrying about slowing down the phone. Its battery life is also surprisingly good, with 13 hours of talk time and 600 hours of standby. The Samsung Wave 2 is an amazing mobile phone that has many mobile phone deal free TV that you might want to consider.

For the most part, the Samsung Wave 2 is an amazing phone. There's not a lot about it to distinguish it from its predecessor, but we can tell that the designers did a fantastic job in revamping the older version. Sleek, fast, and well equipped, this phone is definitely worth consideration.
