The Most Powerful Android Phone Ever

The HTC Desire just may be the phone you’ve been waiting for. This phone is all about your entertainment, your information and multi media. In an instant it gives the user the opportunity to experience news, photos, friends and your favorite places.

Appearance:

Let’s take a look at the exterior of this mobile. It has a real solid feel with its curved edge and super thin 11.9 body. It might be small but it has a nice weighty feel to it. The screen is huge at 3.7 inches and has real buttons at the bottom. It has phenomenal resolution of 480 x 800 megapixels and the AMOLED display is sharp and crisp.

The inter-face of the Desire is one of its best features. The screen instantly responds to you touch. It has pinch to zoom capability that lets you control the view on the screen with a touch of your finger tips. This phone just seems to respond to your touch intuitively.

Camera:

The 5 megapixel camera has autofocus, flash and face detection, making this an outstanding camera. The Desire also comes with a GPS receiver so this makes the camera capable of geo-tagging. Another feature is pre-installed Google maps. It also supports HTC Footprints and has a digital compass.

You also have the capability of sharing your photos on Facebook, Twitter or Flcikr.

Sound:

For listening to your tunes this phone is equipped with a digital music player that can syc with any Window based PC and can handle most popular music formats. The addition of a 3.5 headphone jack lets you listen to your tunes with your favorite headphones. And last but not least there is an FM radio.

Internet Connectivity:

When it comes to the internet, the HTC Desire is in a league of its own. The large screen with its high resolution makes browsing the web a dream. Thanks to the 3G HSPA connection, the internet is always on and fast letting you download at speeds of 7.2 Mbps. With the Android software, responsive touch screen and touch to zoom features, navigating, scrolling and zooming are a “piece of cake”.

The phone also comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPA and A-GPS.

Memory and Talk Time:

The Desire has a fairly good battery life so you shouldn’t be chained to your charger. It supports a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a 1400 mAh capacity. This will give the user talk time of 400 mins and stand by time of 340 hours. Just make sure to turn off the Wi-Fi and GPS when you are not using them and check how many apps you have running. This will prolong your battery life between charges.

Verdict:

The HTC Desire definitely lives up to its name. For a mid range smartphone this one is a pretty sweet deal. The Desire is a good balance of all things you could want in a smartphone. But be careful, once you pick it up you may not want to put it down. This phone costs quite a lot, however you can cut back some cash through online mobilephone deals which offer considerable discounts.
